Gratitude for

September 30, 2019

How it's not that bad and could have been sooo much worse.

The nurses and doctors at St Vincent's. All angels.

Ajahns who visit you at hospital and bring you avocado juice, yoghurt and chocolate wafer from the day's only meal. Oh and not to forget the massive compassion and good vibes. They possess basically nothing, but keep giving...

Friends like Gülsüm, who at a single word and single heartbeat drop everything to stay over and cook for you and make sure you’re alright.

Friends like Asanga, who call you all the way from the beautiful stairwells of a coastal town in Italy and speak to you for an hour when you’re falling apart, don’t judge you in the least, heal with you, share all their heart and listen to yours.

If you're not there for your friends then who the fk are you there for? - A

Friends like Dara, #1 emergency contact, 11pm Maccas runner to bring me a Big Mac at the Emergency Room, and a million other amazing things.

Family like Ma and Aunty Joyce, who fly all the way into Melb and stay half a month to nurse you back to health. Too many tears and bellyaches from laughing.

Leave it to the aunties to find the one Asian store in South Melbourne Market.
Aunty level: Woolies catalogue and house slippers.

Crocheting beanies for the Ajahns at Vimo.

In her element

So cute can't deal

(Also note epic feed:)

Egg rice from my childhood! (Real reason why I broke my arm - so Ma would fly here and cook me egg rice).

All my family and friends for the care and concern.

All the kind strangers and friends who have been helping me carry and buy food, hold open doors, etc.

Meow’s entire family. My little brothers Po and Parn! Healing on all levels.

The chance to meet a Noble being in the midst of all this.

Dad, who has to tolerate all this shit from his kids hahahahah. Sorry Daddy Chan

Beautiful spring!

Triple Gem, man.

Many, many blessings.
